7 days Best of Kenyan Circuit Safari
Safari Type: Luxury

Overview

This immersive seven-day journey is a classic Kenyan "Big Five" safari circuit, combining world-renowned wildlife destinations with stunning scenic diversity. The adventure is meticulously paced to offer deep exploration, comfortable luxury, and authentic encounters with East Africa's most iconic landscapes and animals.

The safari begins with the pinnacle of African game viewing in the Masai Mara National Reserve. Here, you'll spend two full days traversing its vast, rolling grasslands, home to exceptional densities of predators and prey. The experience is timed for optimal wildlife viewing, with early morning and late afternoon drives, and includes the possibility of witnessing the Great Migration's dramatic river crossings (seasonally dependent). Accommodation in a luxury tented camp blends authentic safari atmosphere with modern comforts.

The journey then transitions to the dramatic Great Rift Valley, visiting two contrasting lakes. First is the alkaline Lake Nakuru National Park, a flamingo-fringed rhino sanctuary renowned for its successful conservation work and unique tree-climbing lions. Next, the freshwater Lake Naivasha provides a serene interlude for a peaceful boat safari among hippos and a rare guided walking safari among plains game on Crescent Island.

The grand finale is Amboseli National Park, resting in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. Famous for its massive elephant herds and breathtaking photographic scenes of wildlife against the majestic mountain backdrop, Amboseli offers a different but equally spectacular ecosystem of open plains and lush swamps. The itinerary allows for multiple game drives to maximize chances of clear mountain views and intimate wildlife observations.

Throughout the tour, transportation is via a customized 4x4 safari vehicle with a pop-up roof for optimal viewing, led by a professional, knowledgeable driver-guide. Accommodation shifts from luxury tented camps to classic safari lodges, each chosen for its location, comfort, and immersive setting. This comprehensive itinerary is designed to provide a profound connection with Kenya's natural wonders, from the predator-rich savannahs of the Mara to the elephant kingdoms of Amboseli, creating a complete and unforgettable East African adventure.
